I was just playing with some mini-mini cards from Chuck e Cheese, and I tried doing this flourish with them, and it made me think to post. I really like this flourish, as I do a lot of Daniel Madison's stuff. I had to practice it a lot to be able to get the spin down (and I still have a lot of trouble), but I used the opening of this flourish and the end of DND's molecule 4 flourish to put together something that I really like. It cuts out the spin, because I hate it so, but it's a good flourish to do at the end of a routine. Did anyone else have any trouble with the spin in Rebel, or does anybody have any advice so I can get it down?

the rebel flourish doesnt realy look that hard but not the easiest one you can find also, but the molecole cut is quite andvanced thou I had some problems with it in the begining but it would certanly look very nice combined into one

First, let me tell you that I am not a good routine comer-with-upper. lol, if that makes sense.. And since the moves that I have down are pretty basic, my routines are short and simple. I've been working on some more complex flourishes, but I can't work them in there until I am confident about them, and I can do them speedy.

Nice video. And good choice for a song, I much prefer rock music as a background. What the cuts you do in there?

good video, I'm not much of a flourisher but I do a bit of everyone (db2,D+M,Tudor). My main interested in flourishes is full deck retention, I don't much like the others even though I can do them. my only display so far is here Video Share

The cuts:
Eko (trilogy 2) Swing Cut (my variation of the classic swing cut) with a revolution cut and one card twrill at the end. Combo with Erdnase go around, 2 charlies crossed, backflip (not sure if its the correct name) Static by Joel Paschoal Cr4zŸ TwiSt (my classic cut taught in the utube by me -> /watch?v=7t4rHVxdDlI ) by now i am practicing more D+M stuff =] ;D |
