Talking Favorite Coins Across

Ok so I'm looking to expand my coin magic. My favorite effect right now with coins is Coins Across. Any of them really. The one i use is Daniel Garcia's Personal Safe. I don't have a video or I would up it. Tell me your favorite and if you have a video performance, please post a link so I can have a look.

Well I'll separate them into two categories... Gimmicked and ungimmicked..

Gimmicked:
Homer Liwag's CoinOne Routine (without using the "flash back" production)
Nate Kranzo has some good ideas but his routines just aren't for me
Kainoa Harbottle has some excellent ideas and sequences but takes some work
Eric Jones has some nice routines too (check him out on youtube or theory11)

Ungimmicked:
Of course Chris Kenner and his threefly and coinsacross work (although I have come up with a solution for the third coin that I believe is new)
Jay Sankey's "Mr. Clean Coin's Across" is amazing (my variation replaces the use of the tenkia pinch and is done at chest level; very visual...stay tuned for the performance..)
Ponta the Smith's coins across in his DVD "Sick" is just that.....SICK! (Definitely some interesting and new ideas, at least to my knowledge. Will definitely be doing a review on it soon!)

There's just a few for now that I use and play around with regularly. I like to take pieces and moves from everywhere to make it fit my gestures and style.

lol, way to go above and beyond with a post. Way more than I expected. For that, I am thankful. You've provided me with some great stuff to investigate. Thank you my great man!

I would have to say that I really like Jay Noblezada's coins across and some of Bobo's coins across (can't beat the classics )

Do you mean the one where he uses the 3 half dollars and the 1 English penny?

Yes, I believe that is the one he is talking about.. The extra coin is primarily used so you can "hear" the coin arrive... I use a small brass ring that came with my M5 kit to achieve the same thing... I tell them that the ring is a "portal" that the coins can travel through; from my hand to theirs... 9 times out of 10 they don't even feel the first coin arrive because they are focusing on the ring thats already in their hand. When I lift my hand (after dropping the coin from classic palm) the look of awe is priceless when they realize the coin is now sitting inside the ring... Also, I believe coin routines that involve productions and transpositions should in most cases only be done with three coins MAX! It's simpilier and keeps the audiences attention through the repitition. There are some cases when more coins are permissible (ie. matrix) but three is a nice solid number for any magic effect that builds to a climax..

I like the ring idea, being a portal and all. It makes sense for the magic. I tell the people I'm going to pass it through one hand, up my arm, across my body, down my arm, and out the other hand. I also do "the wave" with my arms to make it look like the coin is traveling through.
