Josh`s routine is pretty much all taken from one routine in Talk About Tricks dvd 1 by Joshua Jay. Ironically I went back to that volume yesterday before he submited his entry to remember the routine and possibly enter the competition with a variation of it. Now I won`t bother lol. I don`t perform Oil and Water anyway, personally I don`t like the trick.

Yes and no... The first two phases and the last part (the transpo) are in the Talk About Tricks series by Joshua Jay. More specifically I learned the last move from Yannick Chretien's (self titled) DVD. However the other two phases are my own sleight variation on a couple O+W phases by Helder Guimaraes (his entire routine is amazing - check it out below. I believe you can find part of Helder's amazing O+W routine on Dan & Dave Buck's website (on demand section).

This is my entry. It's similar to Josh's entry except it's all in the hands and demonstrates Oil and Water like it is.

AND yes you are as bad as me on camera

i just think with no one around its very hard to converse with yourself, and i dont know if its the same with you, but every time im performing magic on camera, instead of everything being easy, its 100x harder, as all i think about is the damn camera

Or is it the invisible audience im thinking of watcching me, either way all magic, and patter goes out the window

It's almost the same for me Scott, it's hard to explaine something you already know to youself..! And me too almost every thing is harder in front of a cam... I think I'm more nervous in front of a cam then in front of 500 crowd people... I'm begining with video so, I guess with time I'll get less nervous... Really not easy to work with cam...

Great routines everyone! It is going to be very hard to vote for just one. Maybe I'll enter and then I won't have to choose.

Some really fine work by all the people that have submitted so far.
