Default Magician Wayne Houchins Invisible Palm

just watched Wayne Houchins Invisible Palm 0n one of the paul harris true astonishment dvds

I didn't like it to be completly honest. The tent vanish is MUCH more convincing than what he does (I dont know what it is called. Somebody correct me). The trick requires a flow that he didn't achieve.

I think that this clip is from a different presentation focus in Houchins magic life. Very mysterious like David Blaine style (probably trying to impress Brad Christian as he always performs like this). Now he tends to be more uplifing like Daryl, Gregory Wison etc.. Magicians who actulay pretend that they have real magic really annoy me. When so many stupid people in the world (cough America - sorry guys but you are) It really turns an entertainment into nothing but lies. This is what Houdini wanted to stop with self acclaimed phycics. Magicians who do this are not doing it for the spectator, they are doing it for themselves and this is makes alot of people not like magic.

I have an old clip of the invisible palm that I think has all the right moves and rythm required to pull it off. I'll find it and post it here

for the coins under centre card i think he uses a gimmicked idea of "Tim Wenk's( Epluribus Unum Gimmick )(Coinmagic Richard Kaufman)(page 164)

GOOD TRY !!!
Ok , lets do it Point by Point here
Yes for the the "Dingle Pickup move" but the question was not about that !!!

The question was about the centre card effect, after the coins go back to original places, and the CENTRE CARD is lift up.
Take my word for it, there is NO ditch, and there is NO palming,
HOW could I palm the four coins at once if the only thing I do is to cover the coins with the card?

there is NO Bluetack ither?
"IF" there was Bluetack, it would make it impossible to handle the card at the begining when placing it at the centre, with out one of them going loose or fall,by the presure or when lifting at the end, and showing nothing UNDER

REMARK: Observe that the card is lifted, and show BOTH SIDES, before discarting...
observe ALSO, the natural mooves of the RIGHT hand and fingers after lifting the centre card at the end
SORRY: No Magic Present for you, but you are very well documentated...

Will love to get more comments on this, there is a real magic present...
Kaufman is great; but even Kaufman DAS'NT KNOW ABOUT MY original "GHOST TECNIQUE"

FORGOT to mention to you
:
good that you show here a good intelectual magic knowlege, even giving the
Latin name : "Epluribus Unum Gimmick"......

BUT;: There is NO need to reveal publickly for those who DONT KNOW the detaills of ....
"...consisting of a group of "soldered together coins" (you can bluetack them) which make it easy to ditch or palm..."

You could simply say: "...he uses the Epluribus Unum tecnique"
No need ither to mention the word "guimick"

Hope you understand this comment

Could be a using a raven, or a black widow(or a 250 DMA homemade black widow) to Steal the coins. By the way, that's isn't an "Invisible palm" routine using coins, it's pretty much just a handling of the Matrix. Not trying to sound like a jerk or anything, but It bugs me when tricks are misnamed. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. I have been before.

Anyway, since this an Invisible Palm thread, I always though it was Originally Paul Harris's trick. That's where I learned it. It's based on Open Travellers(Marlo/Jennings). I love this trick, but here's a handling of the "Invisible Palm" by a man named Arnaud Chevrier. This is such a sweet handling(IMO), because the last vanish does NOT use the deck(which is what always bugged me about the Paul Harris IP!), but you're limited to when you can do it(It's very angle prone. I am very familiar with how it's done!). Hope someone enjoys this as much as I do.
